Stickseeds- Any various plants of the genera Hackelia and Lappula, having small barbed fruits that cling to clothing or fur.
Life off the beaten path sometimes takes you through the woods, weeds, and meadows. Often, you pick up small seeds that seem insignificant at the time, but given the opportunity, those seeds can blossom into weeds or plants. What we plant and how we cultivate is up to us. This blog details the process of gathering “seeds” of all kinds, planting some, tossing others, and cultivating a few. Hence “Stickseeds.”
